About the Position:
A premium national top AM law firm are looking to onboard a Structured Finance Associate to join their practice group. The position is open to their New York office location.
The practice group work on in-depth matters including CLO transactions, marketplace loans and other asset classes transactions. They are looking to onboard an associate who is able to keep up in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
The role requires:
- A minimum of two years’ relevant law firm experience.
- Broad knowledge of structured finance and securitisation experience.
- Experience in structuring, documentation, and negotiation of secured and unsecured financing transactions for both borrowers and lenders.
- Substantial experience in Repo, Asset Backed Lending, Loan on Loan, securitization, structured finance, structured products, corporate and/or real estate. Leverage finance experience is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with over-the-counter derivatives and ISDA Dodd-Frank and similar ISDA regulatory protocols.
- Experience drafting and negotiating documentation under the ISDA Master Agreement, including the Schedule, the Credit Support Annex to the Schedule, Confirmations and related documentation.
- Proven transaction management ability.
- Experience in developing client relationships and business development.
