Job Summary:
A Trimming Specialist is responsible for supporting daily cultivation operations by transforming bio-product into packaging-ready products. This full time position reports directly to their team lead, Sr. Cultivators, and the Grow and Cultivation managers. In this position you can expect to be standing for the majority of your shift and doing repetitive hand motions while completing your job duty.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be able to trim at least 2lbs a day after 90 days
• Efficiently and effectively be able to trim bio-product to a packaging-ready status
• Execute standard operating procedures (SOP) and processes accurately.
• Manage their workload efficiently to meet goals and consistently produce quality products.
• Maintain up-to-date work shift responsibilities on logs and inform direct supervisor of any changes.
• Clean and sterilize equipment and workspace.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management, such as (infrequently) defanning, harvesting, wet trimming, & hanging plants.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be able to follow SOP.
• Must be able to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner.
• Must be comfortable with heights, soil and water, and tight spaces.
• Must be able to climb, squat, bend, twist, and stand for at least 10 hours per day, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to perform other duties as assigned.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to successfully register with the state’s cannabis commission as an agent.
• Must be able to comply with all laws, regulations, and policies associated with the industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plant anatomy is a plus.

Physical and Mental Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position, move and/or position oneself, communicate, operate and/or prepare, place, position objects, tools, or controls. The employee must occasionally move packages weighing up to 25 lb. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close observation and the ability to adjust focus. This position also requires an individual to be able to stand for the majority of their assigned shift, as well as repeat similar motions with their hands while trimming.
