Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cannabis Project Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the cultivation, maintenance, and harvesting of cannabis plants, ensuring optimal plant health and yield.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plant Care: Germinate seeds or clone plants for cultivation. Monitor and maintain the health of cannabis plants, including watering, feeding, and pest management.
- Environmental Control: Manage climate conditions in the growing environment such as temperature, humidity, and lighting to ensure optimal growth.
- Pruning and Training: Prune plants to optimize growth and maximize yield. Implement training techniques to support plant structure.
- Harvesting: Harvest cannabis plants at the appropriate time, ensuring optimal quality. Process harvested plants, including drying, curing, and storing.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations related to cannabis cultivation. Maintain accurate records of cultivation activities and inventory.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure the efficient running of the cultivation facility. Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Learning and Development: Stay updated on new cultivation techniques and industry trends. Participate in training sessions and workshops as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cannabis cultivation or a related field.
- Strong understanding of plant biology and horticulture.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
