What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ophthalmic Technician position at Illinois Eye Associates?
Full scope private Optometry practice is looking to hire an Ophthalmic Technician with excellence in clinical care, service, and communication!
The ideal candidate would be personable, enthusiastic and comfortable in a fast-paced clinical setting. Certification is preferred. We do provide opportunity for personal growth and certification within the parameters of the career. 1-2 years ophthalmology or optometry experience required.
We have a longstanding and pleasant patient population and we believe that providing comprehensive medical eye care should be a positive experience for both the patient and the staff.
Technical responsibilities include: patient medical history, ophthalmic pre-testing, AR, OCT, fundus photos, and visual fields.
Starting salary is dependent upon experience and education.
