This position is responsible for researching scanning issues, performing system and procedure testing, and assisting lower-level staff. Essential Functions
- Under direction, accesses various operating systems for scanning, research, report generation, file tracking, and production reporting.
- Monitors the work of lower-level staff to ensure that procedures are followed, and tasks are completed.
- Serves as designated lead worker.
- Performs testing of changes and provides guidance to permanent and temporary staff.
- Helps maintain effective procedures.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of high school.
- Requires two years of office experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two (2) years of experience performing alpha/numeric filing of documents.
- Two (2) years of experience coordinating multiple assignments to meet deadlines.
- Two (2) years of experience preparing and maintaining schedules, tracking systems, records, and reports to ensure compliance with statutes, rules, regulations, and policies.
- Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Office Word or similar word processing software.
- Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Office Excel or similar spreadsheet software.
Conditions of Employment
- Requires the ability to successfully complete a tax compliance and fingerprint-based background check.
- Requires ability to stoop, bend, and lift tubs work above shoulder level to place on or remove from shelves.
- This position is considered heavy work as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor (20 CFR 404.1567(d)). Heavy work involves lifting no more than 100 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Requires the ability to use and secure a state issued mobile device, e.g., cellular phone, laptop computer, tablet, etc.
