Position Overview
Under the Division of 911, the Radio Network Services Bureau (RNSB) Bureau Chief is responsible for the management of all aspects of statewide law enforcement communications resources including personnel, fiscal management, communications engineering, technical maintenance, data management, associated training, and other resources to accomplish the Bureau's goals and objectives.
Essential Functions
- Formulates and implements policies and procedures in managing all aspects of statewide law enforcement communications resources.
- Plans, directs, and manages the bureau's personnel and fiscal operations.
- Consults with administrators, departmental managers, and outside entities to ensure communications services needs are met.
- Represents the Department through various local, state, and national organizations.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
