Job Summary
Illinois State University, a NCAA Division I institution, member of the Missouri Valley Conference invites applications for the position of Graduate Assistant for Nutrition within the department of Athletics. This pre-professional, 12-month position includes a tuition waiver and a stipend. The successful applicant must meet the admission requirements for Illinois State's Graduate School.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to : assist with nutrition education of student-athletes; assist with all daily operations of the ISU Sports Nutrition Program, this includes scheduling of nutrition volunteers and interns; create educational power points and signs for specific needs identified by the Nutrition staff for individual student-athletes; provide one-on-one counseling for student-athletes as assigned by the Director of Sports Nutrition; participate in the ordering of supplies while monitoring and maintaining a set budget. Maintain the ISU Redbird Fuel Instagram Account.
Additional Information
As a part of your responsibilities, you will follow the regulations and guidelines of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the Missouri Valley Conference or the Missouri Valley Football Conference, the Athletics Department and Illinois State University
