- Work with development and operations teams to test and document enhancements and updates to existing business intelligence products.
- Collect requirements from university personnel to comprehend and document intricate business needs, ensuring clarity and comprehensibility of all requirements.
- Analyze and document business rules and processes for translation into new data elements within the data warehouse.
- Engage with the project team during the analysis and design phases by interpreting and analyzing the content of business requirements.
- Develop and execute test plans and test scripts to ensure the completeness and accuracy of requirements.
- Employ sound judgment and knowledge of common reporting needs and Decision Support capabilities to align customer needs with potential business intelligence solutions.
- Understand key concepts in data warehousing and business intelligence solutions.
- Research and apply best practices for requirements discovery and documentation.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities appropriate for a Business Analyst position.
