Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide software support to end-users, resolving technical issues related to cloud applications, operating systems, and software packages.
Share responsibility of responding to user needs and assisting with desktop support activities.
Assist in troubleshooting software-related problems and collaborate with software vendors for issue resolution.
Design, operate, and maintain Local Area Network (LAN), including installation of computers and workstations on the network, installing hardware and software upgrades, and maintaining and monitoring the system to provide optimal quality to the end-users.
Perform regular maintenance on IT systems, including updates, backups, and security checks to ensure optimal performance and security.
Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop systems, ensuring they meet security and performance standards.
Direct issues to higher support tiers when assistance with problem resolution is needed. Initiate corrective measures within limits of authority.
Install and maintain the Division’s mobile computer systems and cameras.
Assist with IT projects, including planning, implementation, and monitoring progress to ensure successful completion.
Stay updated on the latest IT trends and advancements and provide training to staff concerning new technologies and best practices as needed.
