Duties & Responsibilities
Marketing Coordinator
Digital Marketing Execution
• Assist in the implementation of the college’s marketing plan, including developing emails, digital advertising, and web content and collateral
• With marketing team lead, develop and refine marketing strategies across owned and paid media platforms, and provide recommendations to leadership on new and adjusted tactics
• Maintain a pulse on market and industry trends by conducting market research and identifying new marketing opportunities
Social Media Management
• Lead the daily management and monitoring of the college's social media platforms. Create, review, and maintain compelling content that resonates with target audiences
• Assist with the college’s team-building and support for unit social media managers, including hosting trainings and providing resources. Collaborate with internal teams and campus-wide partners to amplify content and ensure alignment with college priorities, branding, and messaging
• Assist in content creation for the Dean of the College of LAS and for social media advertising
• Plan and track social media content utilizing team management tools such as Airtable to ensure organization and timely delivery
Analytics & Branding
• Ensure adherence to college brand and style guidelines across all channels
• Use metrics to measure the impact of our digital media efforts, make recommendations based on that data, and experiment to ensure maximum impact
Project Management
• Contribute to and work within the project management program used by the team for maximum organization and efficiency.
• Other duties as assigned to further the mission of the college
Senior Marketing Coordinator
Digital Marketing Strategy & Execution
• Manage the creation, coordination, and delivery of digital marketing campaigns, including emails, ads, content, and collateral, in support of and in alignment with the college's strategic objectives
• With marketing team lead, develop and refine marketing strategies across owned and paid media platforms, and provide recommendations to leadership on new and adjusted tactics
• Regularly present digital marketing initiatives and performance analytics to team leaders, and utilize these data-driven insights to continuously refine strategies
• Maintain a pulse on market and industry trends by conducting market research and identifying new marketing opportunities
• Coordinate with external marketing and creative agencies as needed to ensure high-quality content and campaign execution
Social Media Strategy & Execution
• With the marketing team lead, establish social media strategy, goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive engagement and support the college’s strategic goals
• Lead the daily management and monitoring of the college's social media platforms. Create, review, and maintain compelling content that resonates with target audiences
• Lead the college’s team-building and support for unit social media managers, including hosting trainings and providing resources. Collaborate with internal teams and campus-wide partners to amplify content and ensure alignment with college priorities, branding, and messaging
• Oversee the planning of and creation of social media content for the Dean of the College of LAS
• Oversee the planning, creation, and execution of social media advertising campaigns to support college goals
• Plan and track social media content utilizing team management tools such as Airtable to ensure organization and timely delivery
Analytics & Branding
• Ensure adherence to college brand and style guidelines across all channels
• Use metrics to measure the impact of our digital media efforts, make recommendations based on that data, and experiment to ensure maximum impact
• Monitor trends, competitor activity, and industry best practices to inform strategy. Use technology, such as social media listening tools, to identify opportunities, respond to audience insights, and align with the college’s brand voice and goals.
Contribute to and work within the project management program used by the team for maximum organization and efficiency.
