What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Director of Planning, Design, & Construction - Facilities & Services position at illinois?
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide leadership, direction and management to the Planning, Capital Programs, and Engineering & Construction Services teams.
Manage the F&S project process from beginning to allow for an efficient and expeditious mechanism for project delivery while maintaining proper allocation and use of university resources.
Serve on campus committees and panels and represents F&S and the campus with external organizations as necessary.
Be a liaison and work collaboratively with the campus community on all aspects of planning, design, and construction.
Represent F&S's project involvements in the campus community by organizing and attending meetings, making presentations, providing direction and assistance to our campus customers.
Supports and advances the Diversity and Inclusion plans for F&S.
Ensure the University is in compliance with all federal, state, local and institution code requirements and policies.
Be accountable for the operating and capital budgets in area of responsibility and ensures adherence to the budget guidelines, procurement code and delivering service on budget.
Manage the Campus Master Plan and other campus development and use documents.
Supports the Mission, Vision, Guiding Principles and the Strategic Plan for F&S to support the overall University Core Mission.
