What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Chef position at Illusive Restaurant & Bar?
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for food, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to our restaurant’s recipes and standards.
Follow and maintain all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of the food served.
Work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly with other kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service.
Organize and prioritize tasks, ensuring all menu items are prepared and served on time and to the correct specifications.
Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and maintained, reporting any maintenance issues to management.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the proper storage of food, equipment, and supplies.
Train and mentor new kitchen staff as needed.
At least 2 years of experience as a line cook in a high-volume restaurant.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
