Position Summary
The Front Desk Coordinator will provide a warm and friendly greeting to all of those that enter into our office. They will handle administrative tasks such as responding to phone calls, checking in patients, and processing mail.

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No work on holidays, weekends, or nights
Essential Duties/Functions
- Ensures the front desk is tidy and has all necessary materials (i.e. pens, forms, informative leaflets, etc.)
- Answers phones by the third ring
- Processes mail
- Greets guests
- Enters appointments into the office schedule
- Provide patients with a reminder call with the date and time of their appointment two days in advance.
- Check patients in and make sure they complete the necessary forms.
- Ensures timely and accurate customer service
- Handles complaints and specific customer requests
- Monitors stock and orders office supplies
- Ensures proper mail distribution
- Completes all mandatory training
- Billing
- Order 1st stage compression garments
- Process payments
- Print daily close out reports
- Follow all state, federal and/or local health and safety rules, laws, and regulations
- Additional job duties as assigned
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
- Proven experience with front desk administration and scheduling
- Knowledge of computer-based data management programs and information systems, as well as medical records
- Basic knowledge of health care terminology
- Highly ethical with the ability to understand and review state and federal law, as well as company policies and procedures
