Quality Engineer (job Description)
- The Quality Engineer role requires creating and maintaining multiple aspects of a quality and production system including; inspection plans, statistical process controls, evaluating suppliers to ensure inbound and outbound product are acceptable.
- Additionally, they will support Design Engineering by executing or coordinating the performance testing and analysis of new and existing products to evaluate aspects such as: heat rise, vibration, noise generation, and component failure modes.
- Candidates should have a good understanding of statistics, with a reasonable level of knowledge of materials and mechanical design.
- Bachelors in Engineering or Applied Science
- 2-3 years minimum experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment required
- Excel, Minitab or other equivalent database skills for statistical analysis
- Understanding of data structure for (SQL, MySQL, Access) database formatting or Minitab architecture is required
- We encourage the candidate to submit a basic 3-4 row example that demonstrates proficiency.
