As part of our expansion, we are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Real Estate AP/AR Clerk to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions accurately and efficiently
- Reconcile invoices, payments, and account statements
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances and ensure timely collections
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Assist in preparing reports and financial statements related to AP/AR
- Communicate with vendors, tenants, and internal teams regarding billing and payment inquiries
- Support general accounting functions and assist with month-end closing tasks
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting best practices
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in accounts payable and/or receivable, preferably in real estate or property management
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with Yardi Breeze and QuickBooks is a plus
- Prior real estate industry and property management experience is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or relevant certification preferred)
