What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Coordinator - Employee Benefits position at IMA Financial Group?
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
- Supports and demonstrates IMA's core values
- Values and understands the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associates
- Technology: ensures Agency Management Systems are kept up to date for full unit as requested. Processes enrollments and changes for clients as requested. Ensures deadlines are met
- Service: with guidance, assists unit to help support clients, vendors, and associates to solve issues relating to Employee Benefit programs, including benefits administration processing, and tracking. Provides superior customer service and support to all external and internal clients and vendors with guidance
- Renewal Process/Plan Implementation: assists team in coordinating renewal and enrollment process. Ensures follow-through on all processes as requested to be performed by unit(s) and/or manager
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS include but are not limited to:
- Up to 6 months of similar or related experience
- Equivalent to a two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both internally and externally
- Ability to be firm and persuasive when needed, while maintaining good relationships
- High degree of courtesy, diplomacy, and tact
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Proficiency with Microsoft products and agency systems
- Ability to analyze and interpret data
- Strong communication. presentation skills, and written skills
- Ability to communicate ideas in a clear and concise manner
- Commitment to work through projects to completion
- Strong reasoning skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Effectively prioritizes tasks and manages multiple projects while meeting timelines
- Some travel required
