Towerstone PLUS, Inc. is a premier Austin-based wholesale insurance brokerage, specializing in management and professional liability. The brokers at PLUS are viewed as experts among insurance brokers and policyholders regarding management and professional liability exposures, risk mitigation strategies and related insurance products and solutions.The Associate Broker actively operates within a team environment and supports broker(s) with their growing book of business, continually seeks ways to improve knowledge and expertise, completes duties in accordance with company standards, and treats clients, company personnel, and associates with respect and courtesy.
What You'll Do
- Supports and demonstrates IMA's core values
- Values and understands the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associates.
- Prepares initial market submissions and loss summaries
- Independently interfaces with clients and carriers to solve problems and answer questions
- Develops and maintains proactive communication with clients
- Reviews and analyzes quotes, and negotiates the terms of the transaction
- Prepares draft proposals, submissions and quotes
- Monitors market changes and performs marketing activities as required by Broker
- Maintains knowledge of insurance coverages, carriers and their business practices
