We are seeking a dedicated and proactive production professional to join our team in the heart of New York. As an Activation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in leading key event/video/photo productions related to reDEFINE accounts. Your responsibilities will include developing production/project schedules, overseeing project budgets, managing/expanding vendor contacts, creating detailed execution materials, building staffing plans, executing client events/shoots, and building a reDEFINE production function that focuses on activations/nimble digital video/photography.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Project management | 80-percent of time will be spent supporting Suntory client needs | 20-percent of time will be supporting other reDEFINE client needs
- Budget management | crafting and maintaining campaign budgets
- Vendor management | organize and expand vendor lists to maximize cross-country reach/include new skillsets (such as street teams, animators, etc.)
- Production planning and execution | develop detailed planning documents and manage coordination/onsite execution for events, video/photoshoots, etc.
- Team support | be a cross-functional resource that works across all reDEFINE team members
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
- Bring energy and excitement to team brainstorms
- Challenge the team with new ideas and stand up for beliefs
- Develop new team/agency functions – specifically focused on nimble/event productions
- Build a long-term plan to expand reDEFINE’s capabilities across markets
MINIMUM JOB REQUIRMENTS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s or vocational degree from a fully accredited college or university.
Experience:
- Experience leading experiential brand campaigns/events
- Ability to role model the agency’s vision and connect it to client’s goals.
- Minimum of 4 years professional work experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Possess excellent team relations skills, shows empathy, and values authentic relationships.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and editing).
- Must possess good organizational skills, demonstrated initiative, flexibility, sound judgment and a positive attitude.
- Ability to multi-task and effectively manage deadlines.
- Proficiency in basic software (i.e., Google Suite) and social media platforms.
- Commitment to producing the best work possible (aka willing to work long hours when necessary).
- Must be willing and able to travel.
- A sense of humor; flexibility.

HYBRID WORK MODEL:
- This role does not require contractor to work from the IW Group office in Los Angeles, but will require travel off-site to conduct venue checks, vendor pick-ups, and event executions (as well as other necessary tasks that are required to produce successful events).
