Busy manufacturing company in Mattoon, Illinois has an Industrial Engineering job opening.
- Develop plant layouts, plant scheduling, production standards and production routing procedures.
- Recommend automated material handling equipment. Recommend changes that increase productivity.
- Perform work measurement studies, and develop the most efficient flow of materials, considering manpower, equipment, machine capacities, and plant layout.
- Analyze production operations. Determine the most efficient operator methods, and individual workstation assignments.
- Create, manage and track cost reduction projects, support Lean and Six Sigma program.
- Develop and submit budgets for all areas of responsibility, including cost justifications for capital equipment.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, or other engineering. One to four years’ experience in cost reduction, process and productivity improvement especially in a manufacturing operation.
