Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming in assigned areas.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, waxing, and stripping floors as needed.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
- Handle industrial cleaning duties in compliance with safety regulations.
- Support residential painting projects when required to enhance the appearance of facilities.
- Act as a porter by managing waste disposal and recycling efforts throughout the premises.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies to maintain facility standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of floor care methods including buffing and waxing is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
