Job Overview
Image Source is currently seeking a positive, sharp and organized individual to join our Image Source team as an Accounting Administrator. This “hands-on” non-managerial role requires an extremely organized individual who is adaptable & works well in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities for Accounting Administrator
- Overall:
- Work with a 9-person team to maintain timely & accurate results while always taking care of our customers (including the entire Image Source team)
- Be a backup to all accounting team members as needed
- Help develop & maintain efficient accounting policies and procedures
- Learn the ERP system which is Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and assist in new initiatives to streamline processes
- Conduct month end closing tasks (royalty reporting, rent billings)
- Reporting (Assist in preparing sales reports for the sales teams)
- Accounts Receivable:
- Own all aspects of customer billing – this will be a very “hands on” function
- Review Account Receivable bi-weekly, and work with the team to make sure collections are current and that discrepancies are handled in a timely manner.
- Own order approvals and customer credit reviews (including new credit applications)
- Reconcile all large customer accounts monthly
- Reconcile customer deposits to the GL
- Accounts Payable:
- Review Account Payable weekly, and work with the team to make sure all invoices are correctly entered into our ERP system and paid on time.
- Process weekly AP payments, and daily prepayments
- Work with each of the sales teams to make sure all non-COGS costs are added to projects
- Prepare and submit annual 1099s
- Reconcile credit card statements to the GL
Qualifications for Accounting Administrator
- In-Office position, hybrid is negotiable after 6mos.
- Previous Accounting experience in a small to mid-sized company required
- College degree in accounting field
- Ability to work independently and make suggestions and decisions in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, self-driven, good time manager, motivated with positive attitude
- Detail oriented with good analytical skills
- Team Player
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing
