Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Team Leader to oversee our accounting operations and lead a high-performing team. This role requires a strong background in general ledger accounting, financial management, and public accounting , along with leadership skills to guide the team in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting corporate finance initiatives. The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy, analytical professional who thrives in a dynamic, start-up environment and enjoys optimizing financial processes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage the accounting team to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and compliance with industry regulations.
• Oversee general ledger activities , including journal entries, accrual accounting, and reconciliations.
• Ensure proper management of accounts payable processes and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Prepare and review regulatory reporting to ensure compliance with applicable laws and standards.
• Develop and implement internal controls and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve financial processes.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client financial inquiries, audits, and compliance-related matters.
• Collaborate with other departments to support corporate finance initiatives and improve financial operations.
• Mentor and develop team members through training, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
• Utilize Sage, QuickBooks Online, Keeper, Xero, Bill.com, and other accounting software to manage financial data effectively.
• Identify financial discrepancies and implement solutions to maintain financial integrity.
