We are looking for a warm, energetic, and highly organized Patient Coordinator to join our team.
Position Summary
As our Patient Coordinator, you are the first smiling face and the friendly voice that our young patients and their families encounter. You play a key role in ensuring a smooth flow in the office, from scheduling appointments to answering questions and helping families feel at ease. You will thrive in this role if you love working with children, are naturally friendly and patient, and take pride in providing exceptional service.
Schedule- This is a full-time position
- Monday-Friday
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is required - must speak, comprehend, read, and write in Spanish with fluent competency.
- Prior experience in a dental or medical office preferred, but not required
- Genuine love for working with children and families
- Friendly, outgoing, and patient demeanor
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to take initiative and ownership of tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Tech-savvy with experience in dental software (a plus!)
- Detail-oriented and reliable
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients with a warm and friendly demeanor as they arrive at the office.
- Explain treatment options and associated costs to patients clearly and effectively.
- Manage patient appointments and maintain the office schedule to ensure efficient operations.
- Answer phone calls and emails promptly and professionally, providing information and scheduling appointments as needed
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with billing and payment inquiries
- Maintain a clean and organized front office area
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient experiences
- Support marketing and promotional efforts to attract and retain patients.
