Job Summary:
Image One Uniforms is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager (AM) to manage and grow a portfolio of existing clients while identifying and developing new business opportunities. As a liaison between Image One and its clients, the AM will leverage industry expertise to provide creative branded merchandise solutions, delivering exceptional service that exceeds client expectations.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for building relationships, be detail-oriented, have a strong sales background (preferably in the promotional products/branded merchandise industry), and a drive to help businesses create impactful brand experiences through apparel, uniforms, and promotional merchandise.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and nurture relationships with existing clients to drive satisfaction and retention through strategic communication, tailored solutions, and by strengthening the client–representative relationship to maximize long-term value and account growth.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding client branding and marketing needs and providing innovative merchandise solutions.
- Prospect and generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold calling, and attending industry events.
- Identify potential clients, engage decision-makers, and convert prospects into long-term, satisfied customers.
- Consult with clients to recommend tailored branding solutions that align with their goals.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and product recommendations.
- Stay informed on industry trends, product innovations, and competitor offerings to provide best-in-class solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including design, production, and customer service, to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
- Assist in developing strategy, presentations, and pitches for clients and projects.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline progress using CRM software.
Territory & Travel Expectations:
- Willingness to drive and call on customers in Superior, Wisconsin/Duluth, MN and surrounding areas.
- Open to candidates within driving distance of the immediate area who can pursue business remotely while being able to travel for client meetings, events, and company functions as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: 2 years of sales, account management, or business development experience desired, preferably within the promotional products, print, advertising, or branded merchandise industry.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in growing client accounts, driving new business, and achieving sales goals.
Strong Communication & Presentation Skills: Ability to build rapport quickly with clients and suppliers, present ideas effectively, and negotiate successfully.
Creative & Solutions-Oriented: Ability to develop innovative and tailored branded merchandise solutions that align with client goals.
Self-Motivated & Organized: Excellent time management and multitasking abilities with a focus on accuracy and delivering results.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
