We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Alterations Shop Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing front-desk operations, and supporting the smooth running of our shop. Key duties include assisting customers with orders, scheduling fittings, handling payments, answering phone inquiries, and opening/closing the shop.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, a professional demeanor, and a passion for helping customers with their tailoring needs. Prior experience in retail or customer service is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with alterations and tailoring services.
- Schedule fittings and ensure accurate recording of customer preferences.
- Process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate sales records.
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and provide information about services.
- Open and close the shop following standard procedures.
- Ensure the shop remains clean, organized, and welcoming.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in customer service, retail, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic proficiency in handling POS systems and scheduling software.
Schedule: Varies: 3-5 days per week. Monday- Friday, 9:30am-5:30pm.
