KCYU FOX has an immediate opening for a National Sales Assistant to assist Sales Managers and Account Executives in all areas relating to performance of their sales duties (including reports and presentations) by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answering phones in a professional and courteous manner.
- Distribution of daily sales reports and daily order entry.
- Work with advertising agency representatives with makegoods, contracts, etc.
- Inputs orders entry and pulls sales activity reports for National Sales Managers
- Work with Wide Orbit, Media Ocean, Media Line traffic systems.
- Work with clients and trouble shoot issues daily.
- Back up other sales assistants as necessary
- Participate in and contribute to sales coordinated events, assist with client and sales meetings.
Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. B.A. preferred or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as sales orders, written instructions. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Experience with computer keying and experience in/familiarity with broadcasting. Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Needs to be proficient in Excel, Word and Power Point. Media experience preferred (Wide Orbit traffic system experience a plus).
Must have excellent communication skills both in person and on the telephone. Must be personable, demonstrate initiative, and be a self-starter with attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume, time sensitive environment.

Salary: $18.25/hour
