What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at Imagine Finishes LLC?
- Construction Accounting Experience – Must have prior experience handling bookkeeping for a construction company, including job costing, subcontractor payments, and project-based financial tracking.
- Proficiency in Excel – Strong knowledge of Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis to track expenses, budgets, and project costs efficiently.
- AIA & Payment Applications – Must be familiar with AIA billing, payment applications, and lien waivers, ensuring accurate and timely submissions for progress payments.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable Management – Responsible for processing invoices, tracking payments, reconciling accounts, and following up on outstanding balances.
- Payroll & Compliance Knowledge – Experience with construction payroll, certified payroll reports, and ensuring compliance with tax and labor regulations.
- Detail-Oriented & Organized – Ability to manage multiple projects, track financial data accurately, and maintain organized records for audits and reporting.
- * Bonus* Project Estimating Experience – Prior experience in construction estimating is a plus, including reviewing blueprints, preparing takeoffs, and assisting with bid proposals.
