The Executive Director of National Partnerships establishes an approach and strategic plan that engages national education partners and strategic district leaders, indirectly contributing to sales revenue growth targets. This position contributes to the national partnership strategy by focusing on partnership development with national partnership organizations and its affiliates.

  • Position Type: This is a regular, full-time position.
  • Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $86,261 and $115,000 per year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.
  • Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote.
  • Travel: You can also expect up to 50% travel, so be sure you have a valid driver's license and automobile insurance and a clean driving record for at least the preceding 39 months.

Envision Your Experience.

In this role you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Research, identify and secure new areas of partnership support.
  • Analyze potential implementing partners re: market size, conditions for partnerships, and mission alignment.
  • Lead an intentional, targeted effort to partner with large organizations and initiatives.
  • Define criteria for the success of national partnerships.
  • Incorporate real-time learning and feedback to ensure iterative program development.
  • Translate learning into a plan for the expansion of the national network beyond the initial phase.
  • Lead the negotiation of partnership agreement terms and generate contracts.
  • Provide ongoing stewardship of national partnerships, establish performance measures and monitor results, to ensure that all contractual commitments are achieved.
  • Deepen existing national partnerships and connect partners cross-organizationally.
  • Coordinate closely with the National Events team to ensure smooth communication with national partners and alignment of program goals and events.
  • Coordinate closely with sales managers and account executives to identify strategic opportunities.
  • Establish relationships with strategic K-12 district superintendents and cabinet members, bridging actionable communication between administrators and account executives, and/or sales managers.

Share Your Expertise.

Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or similar degree and 10 years of professional education and industry experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrates resourcefulness in setting priorities, executing multiple tasks, solving problems, and achieving objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer-facing experience.
  • Well-developed public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Capable of working independently while contributing to team projects as appropriate.
  • Experience convening a diverse group of stakeholders, and/or building coalitions around specific goals or programs.
  • Background working with diverse partners to successfully implement solutions.
  • Ability to think strategically and connect strong program execution to broader strategic priorities and objectives.
  • Comfortable with a range of media tools including traditional media, social media, and presentation tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
