What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at Imagine Pediatrics?
About the Role:
As Senior Accountant with Imagine Pediatrics, you will collaborate to build a best-in-class accounting function from the ground up. This role is hands on, and you will have direct responsibility in numerous accounting functions, processes and procedures. Primary functions for this role will include:
- Maintaining, calculating, and reconciling all ROUs as it relates to ASC 842
- Owning the bank reconciliation process
- Booking, and allocating payroll entries and reconciling all payroll related GL accounts
- Partnering with payroll to ensure all new pay codes, locations, and departments are mapped correctly for GL purposes
- Booking and reconciling prepaids, fixed assets, and accrued expenses
- Assisting with other month-end close processes as necessary
- Identifying and communicating process improvements in the month-end close process, as applicable
- Partnering with the Finance team during the close process to ensure expenses are categorized correctly and align with budget
- Acting as a secondary back up to the AP clerk for invoice processing and credit card coding
- Other ad-hoc projects as needed.

- 3-5 years of total accounting experience, preferably in the healthcare space. Strong preference for value-based healthcare experience, but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Experience in NetSuite, Bill.com and Ramp preferred but not required.
- Must be highly organized, able to maintain strict confidentiality, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability as a self-starter with an exceptionally strong work ethic

The role offers a base salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 in addition to an annual bonus incentive, competitive company benefits package, and eligibility to participate in an employee equity purchase program (as applicable).
