Resource Label Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. This role requires strong analytical skills and a solid accounting background to support financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit activities. The ideal candidate will manage the company's accounts payable and receivable processes while providing general ledger coding, month-end close responsibilities, cash flow analysis, and financial report generation analysis.
Responsibilities
General ledger management which requires in-depth knowledge and understanding of accrual accounting and month-end close processes and procedures.
Reconcile financial transactions, statements, records, and reports and lead in maintaining the accuracy of ledgers and financial systems.
Assist in the preparation of budgets, settling intercompany transactions, annual audits, and year-end closings.
Ensure deadlines for month-end close and financial reporting requirements are met and all accounting and reporting activities are performed in accordance with the accounting policies and/or the financial procedures of the organization.
Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
Assist the Controller in the monthly financial closing process and engage in process improvement activities supporting company strategic objectives.
Maintain Fixed Assets records and calculate the monthly depreciation expense.
Provide timely support for all internal and external audit requests
Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, automation, and best practices for accounts receivable and revenue recognition
Interface with outside audit firms, banks, suppliers, and customers to resolve any operational issues that arise.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and five (5) years of proven work experience in a related role; prior work experience in an industrial manufacturing environment is required.
Multi-company, international financial consolidations, and currency exchange management are significant pluses
Understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial statements.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); hands-on experience with ERP software programs.
