Position Overview
The Director, Human Resources leads Imagine Schools Riverside County’s (ISRC) human resources functions by coordinating and administering all related processes and functions including recruitment and selection, policy and compliance, benefits and compensation, and operational leadership. The Director ultimately helps ensure ISRC school based staff are effectively supported so they can focus on serving students. The Director is a key part of the schools’ leadership team, reporting directly to the Regional Director.
Performance Responsibilities
- Recruitment / Selection and Staffing
Develop a robust recruitment and selection strategy for open positions; recruit, screen and process applicants for hire.
Manage employee benefits in collaboration with administrative staff; ensure competitive total rewards for staff.
Collaborate with leadership to review and update policies, ensuring alignment with legal and institutional standards.
Develop a clear Human Resources strategy for the campuses, including performance metrics.

Classification
This is a full-time, exempt position based on a full year calendar cycle and supports our two schools in Riverside County (Coachella and Hemet). The Director, Human Resources will work out of one of the two campuses and can expect frequent travel to the other campus.
