Positional Overview
Imagine Staffing is currently seeking an HR Business Partner in the Fort Mill, SC area on behalf of our client, a rapidly growing equipment manufacturer and supplier.
The HR Business Partner will play a hands-on role in supporting the hourly workforce within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This individual must be a proactive self-starter, recognizing operational needs and taking ownership to drive solutions. They will oversee critical HR functions, including time and attendance tracking, employee relations, compliance, and payroll processing. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills and experience working within an ATS (SmartRecruiter) and payroll system (ADP).
Role & Responsibility:
- Serve as the key HR point of contact for employees in a manufacturing setting, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
- Proactively address workplace issues and employee concerns, conducting investigations and resolving conflicts as needed.
- Oversee time and attendance tracking, ensuring accurate payroll processing through ADP, including verification of employee hours, deductions, and benefit accruals.
- Lead efforts to improve employee engagement, retention, and performance management strategies.
- Assist in managing the full cycle recruiting process, leveraging SmartRecruiter ATS to track candidates and hire top talent.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance workforce skills and development.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal employment laws and company policies.
- Interpret, develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and regulatory compliance.
- Support managers and supervisors in HR-related matters, including coaching on best practices for handling employee concerns.
- Assist with HR reporting, audits, and other administrative duties as required.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of employee relations, compliance, and HR best practices.
- Experience managing payroll processes, including time tracking and attendance systems.
- Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with ATS platforms (SmartRecruiter preferred) and payroll systems (ADP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
