Remote (Northern, NJ territory)
Direct Hire
$65k-$80k base plus uncapped commission ($25k expected commission)
Role & Responsibility:
Tasks That Will Lead To Your Success
- Prospecting & generating new business.
- Securing customer renewals.
- Cross-selling and up-selling.
- Building and cultivating customer relationships.
- Consultative selling to solve customer challenges by strategizing comprehensive solutions.
- Forecasting opportunity outcomes.
- Strategic account planning and execution for territory growth.
- Meeting sales goals and objectives assigned by National Sales Manager.
- Preparing a variety of status reports, including itinerary, activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals
- Identifying and resolving client concerns.
- Developing and maintaining sales materials and current product knowledge.
Skills & Experience:
Qualifications That Will Help You Thrive
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and work experience.
- Experience selling technology products (3 years)
- Ability to manage full-cycle opportunities using CRM and other sales technology.
- Extensive experience working on a regular basis with school district administrators and executives preferred, but not required.
- Demonstrated experience creatively problem solving as needed.
- Solid understanding of the educational market a plus.
- Demonstrated consistent success against assigned goals selling educational software (5 years) or technology.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present, persuade, and collaborate.
- Ability to plan and execute strategies and initiatives.
- Negotiation skills.
