Position Summary:
The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting our employees and ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations. This individual will be responsible for payroll, benefits administration, 401(k) administration, onboarding and offboarding employees, maintaining employee files and documentation, and addressing employee questions and concerns. There will be opportunities for this individual to take on strategic projects as well, working closely with the executive team. The ideal candidate has a few years of experience in these areas and is eager to expand their career in HR while making a meaningful impact in a growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize our HRIS (Rippling) and act as system owner.
- Support payroll to ensure accuracy and collaborate with accounting team.
- Support the day-to-day administration of employee benefit programs and 401(k) plan.
- Support recruiting efforts by drafting offer letters, advising on offer terms, and providing general coordination.
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding process to ensure a seamless employee experience.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, policies, and workplace concerns.
- Maintain accurate HR records, ensure compliance with employment laws, and support audits as needed.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Partner with leadership to foster a positive workplace culture and support employee engagement initiatives.
- Support other HR-related projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in HR with a focus on payroll, benefits, and general HR administration.
- Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
- Experience with payroll and benefits administration systems (experience with Rippling is a plus).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with employees and leadership.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to create and manage processes that scale.
- Eager to learn, grow, and take on increasing HR responsibilities over time.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
