About the Position
We are seeking a candidate willing to work as a construction Field Mechanic to repair and maintenance heavy equipment and trucks. This position will be considered a Heavy Equipment Mechanic and will work primarily in the field. This Field Mechanic position will service and repair all equipment and vehicles on jobsites, keep records of repairs completed, communicate daily with the shop team, and buy/order parts as needed. A successful candidate must have the ability, experience, and knowledge of heavy construction equipment repairs and maintenance. This person must adhere to company policies and values and thrive working in a team setting.

Compensation and Benefits
- Starting pay range $40 - $45.00 per hour. Depending on experience.
- Medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage is available on the first day of the month following 60 days of employment.
- 401K match on eligible wages and available for eligible employees on the first of the month following 60 days of employment. IMCO offers 100% contribution matching up to 4% of the employee’s eligible wages.
Responsibilities
This is an overview of responsibilities and may not include all duties required for the position.
- Safely and efficiently repair equipment
- Inspect Construction Equipment/vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues.
- Documents repairs in the work order management system.
- Maneuver equipment in and out of the shop or in the field.
- Perform repairs with safety and quality as the top priority.
- Report defects, accidents, or violations.
Location & commitments
- Primary Location – Eastern Washington State Region
- Travel requirement 75%
- Travel to various construction project sites and/or company offices within assigned areas.
- Candidates may be asked to travel outside their assigned area with adequate notice, as dictated by project demands.
- Full-time - 8–10-hour shifts
- Overtime may be available
- Evening/weekend work may be necessary to meet milestones
Requirements and Qualifications
- 5 years as a mechanic (heavy equipment)
- Current and valid Commercial driver’s license
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
- Current and valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record capable of maintaining an insurable driving record.
- Enrollment in a drug-free workplace program is required. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring THC in testing panels – including pre-employment drug screening.
- A criminal background check is required; one must be able to pass security clearance requirements for select projects.
- Adhere to all safety requirements.

- Applicants must reside in and be currently authorized to work in the United States.
