Location: Sterling, VA 20164
Job Type: Contract to hire - 6 Months
Responsibilities:
- Serve as an active member of the software development team participating indaily standups.
- Utilize fullstack development expertisethat ranges from client development of markup and styling to OS level services, and serverside containers and database technologies.
- Design pattern implementations, including service locater, REST, and dependency injection.
- Support Docker desktop containers and services such as Kubernetes or Konvoy.
- Database support for PostgreSQL, codefirst or databasefirst
- Document software designs, which may include design diagrams, data flow diagrams, software module descriptions, etc.
- Provide Tier 3 / 4 engineering support, as needed, for solutions deployed to production.
Qualifications /Skills:
- Must be US Citizen due to government requirement with the ability to obtain and maintain a CBP Public Trust.
- Bachelor's and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience (4 years' experience in lieu of degree).
- Distributed system design and development with Microsoft .NET and Python.
- Skilled at backend service development and interacting with hardware drivers and APIs.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and PowerShell.
- Comfortable with both Linux and Windows Operating systems and environments.
- Familiar with build pipelines, including Jenkins with SonarQube.
- Excellent troubleshooting and resolution skills.
- Middleware and User Interface driven applications, Agile development.
- Git, Git Tools, including GitLab.
- .NET 6 development, Docker experience.
- Entity Framework with code first or database first, PostgreSQL, VueJS or ReactJS.
Salary Range: $65 - $73 per hour on W2

Schedule:
- Mon - Fri
- 8 AM to 5 PM
