Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer with strong experience in systems, software, cloud, and Agile methodologies to support a complex program providing Agile development and operations and maintenance for critical systems on a mission-critical program.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, debug, and maintain high-quality products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile SCRUM methodology and SAFe to deliver features enhancing system capabilities and facilitating the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) mission
- Translate customer needs into user stories and deliver working capabilities at the conclusion of each sprint
- Mentor junior and entry-level developers to enhance their skills and work with others on product teams to develop solutions to impediments preventing completion of work
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience or 10 years of relevant experience with Master's degree; OR 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Software development should include JAVA and ANGULAR technologies
- 5 years' experience developing cloud-ready applications and/or migrating applications to the cloud
- Ability to obtain a CBP Background Investigation prior to start
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Top Secret Clearance
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git/Github
