About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Hardware Lab Technician Specialist to join our team at IMCS Group India. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and managing large-scale hardware rack testing environments for various firmware projects.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a myriad of devices and fixtures which run on these device clusters.
- Provide physical in-lab support to enable automated system testing on these racks.
- Work with the firmware and hardware engineering teams in setting up the test hardware configurations.
- Troubleshoot test environment issues and improve lab automations with the test automation team.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in building and managing labs with devices.
- Technical support experience or equivalent working knowledge in computer hardware and networking.
- Experience in managing MacOS and iOS devices.
- Proficiency in automating device management using Python, bash, and Ansible.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for system and user-level issues in MacOS, iOS, or Linux.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
