The Position
Celpure Trainee
Job Summary
Celpure ore diversification and qualification.
Evaluate the usage of additional stratigraphic units of Dark 2 ore at the Celpure plant. Project targets to deliver 1M USD in savings over 2 years.
Project is coupled with the Lompoc Mine engineer project, and has the potential to extend Lompoc mine, reduce VC, reduce Celpure exposure to only 2 ore types and decrease overall Celpure plant supply.
Project Learning Objectives:
The Trainee will learn about Lompoc Celpure grades, process controls, quality controls and production KPI´s.
He/She will also learn about the FC and VC concepts and how production parameters and stability impacts on it, will also learn about the impact of different crude qualities on the final product.
He/she will learn about the chemical composition of different ore types and how it impacts the Celpure process.
This specific project will give the trainee a broad vision of how mine planning and ore specs correlate with finished product specs.
Wage: $70,000 - $90,000
Education and/or Experience:
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
- Newly graduated from college
- Self starter
- Able to work without constant supervision
- Communicates well
