What are the responsibilities and job description for the HS Compliance Specialist position at Imerys?
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a HS Compliance Specialist. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the success of our Safety System across multiple operations in Western USA.
About You
- You will possess a Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate technical discipline and at least 10 years of experience in Safety and Health roles in a mining, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives that reduce or eliminate risk and continually improve HS performance.
- Lead the HS programs across multiple operations located in Western USA, becoming a subject matter expert of Imerys protocols concerning environmental, industrial hygiene, and safety programs and procedures.
- Collaborate with other functions to deploy and drive group strategic initiatives.
