What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Controller position at iMettle Consulting LLC?
Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in the country area management team to integrate finance considerations into local decision-making.
- Serve as a key finance partner to business leaders, offering support through detailed analysis and reporting.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of management accounting and operational reporting within the group’s framework.
- Prepare and analyze profitability reports for customers, projects, products, and agreements.
- Provide management with information and recommendations on financial transactions, operational costs, inventories, sales, orders, taxes, depreciation, property, and other asset values.
- Assist in the preparation of operating budgets and forecasts, and develop statements of recommendations for future financial plans, internal controls, policies, and objectives.
- Evaluate and implement approved programs aimed at cost reduction, improved controls, work simplification, and optimal equipment utilization.
- Identify process improvement opportunities by recognizing implications and relationships among problems and issues.
- Ensure compliance with the Group’s financial, legal, and IT policies, instructions, and guidelines across all levels of the company.
- Conduct local audits of service locations, and report findings and recommendations to management.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CPA designation is an asset.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in preparatory accounting, financial analysis, or Controller roles, preferably within a service environment.
- Experience with SAP, Siebel, or other large ERP systems is strongly preferred.
- Expected travel is 10-15%.

Pay: $91,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
