Machinist I 3:15PM - 1:15AM M-Th with OT Fridays

Manufacturing experience required but a great entry-level Machinist I opportunity. 

Second Shift begins at 3:15pm and continues until 1:15am Monday-Thursday with mandatory Overtime on 3 out of 4 Fridays. 

The hourly range for this role is $19.65 to $21.70 based on experience. Add 10% for the Night Differential! Open because our Machinist I moved up to Machinist II with us.

It's a great team working in a clean shop with full HVAC in a safe and comfortable facility. The HR guy's pretty grumpy but the rest of the Management Team is excellent.

Role Overview

The Machinist 2nd Shift will perform duties and follow standardized, pre-determined procedures to primary operate a saw until skills are built. We offer and encourage cross-trainig and provide the opportunity to "level-up" to gain skills, rating and wages.

Work from work orders, listings, charts, blueprints and verbal instructions to:

• Safely and accurately operate a saw and other light machines to produce tubes and tie rods according to specifications, instructions and blueprints.  
• Check item descriptions for appropriateness and overall condition of component parts prior to the assembly process.
• Change over, operate and adjust equipment to perform as needed.
• All of our direct and indirect labor colleagues cooperate to meet deadlines, often performing alternate roles, for which they have been trained, to meet the deadlines and demands of our customers.
• This facilty prides itself on the quick-turnaround and high quality that keeps us growing. 
• Notify supervisory personnel of equipment and operating difficulties.
• Attend 100% of safety training sessions.
• Report at least 1 Safer per month.
