As the Partner Relations Lead, you’ll own the relationships that power IDS’s field operations. You’ll be trusted to manage and scale our nationwide network of contracted Certified Imagers (CIs) with discipline, urgency, and a strong sense of accountability. If you’re someone who digs into data, prefers clear expectations, and keeps things moving under pressure—while also building strong, direct relationships—then this is your chance to lead from the front. You’ll have the opportunity to create order in a dynamic space, influence performance, and make a visible impact across the entire delivery network.
Partner Network Development
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new CIs based on IDS’s geographic and project needs.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to anticipate subcontractor demand and fill regional coverage gaps.
- Train new CIs on IDS processes, SOW expectations, communication standards, and documentation requirements.
Relationship Management & Communication
- Act as the main point of contact and internal advocate for IDS’s CI network.
- Conduct regular check-ins, feedback sessions, and engagement meetings with high-utilization subcontractors.
- Gather insights from the field to improve workflows, documentation, and the subcontractor experience.
Scope of Work & Process Adherence
- Collaborate with stakeholders on Scope of Work (SOW) creation and updates.
- Ensure all CIs are consistently aligned with the most current field process documentation and expectations.
- Provide feedback to the operations team when SOW adjustments are needed based on subcontractor performance or feedback.
Performance Management & Quality Control
- Monitor CI performance against KPIs including timeliness, communication, quality, and process compliance.
- Address non-compliance issues promptly and develop improvement plans when needed.
- Develop, lead and maintain the Preferred Partner Program, tracking and promoting high-performing subcontractors.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date subcontractor records (contracts, Part 107 certifications, insurance, W-9s, etc.).
- Implement reminders and tracking systems for document expiration and renewal.
- Enforce compliance with Master Service Agreement terms and educate subcontractors as needed.
Reporting & Collaboration
- Run regular reports on subcontractor utilization, coverage, quality, and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with accounting to resolve subcontractor invoicing or payment issues.
- Provide performance summaries and improvement recommendations to leadership.
Additional Responsibilities
- Travel 10–20% of the time, particularly in the first year, to support subcontractor relationship-building, onboarding, and field quality evaluation.
- Support the Operations team with special projects or internal initiatives as needed.
Nature & Scope
- Travel Requirement: 10-20%, focused on initial onboarding and regional support
- Team Collaboration: Regular interaction with Project Managers, AI team members, CI field teams, and accounting
- No direct reports, but significant influence over subcontractor partner performance
