Job Overview
Impact Advisors is seeking a dynamic and motivated AR Management Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in improving healthcare in addition to enhancing patient care. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to client success while making a meaningful impact on the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of personnel, including planning, organizing, and coordinating all unit activities[KR1] .
- Create and present executive reports on a weekly or monthly basis.
- Interview and hire qualified applicants, train and coach employees on job requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Establish unit goals and directives, continuously develop, and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
- Be responsible for the revenue cycle performance of assigned clients.
- Manage team productivity and quality standards.
- Coordinate with leadership to resolve problems and coordinate activities for areas including, but not limited to claim edits, claim definition files, paper and electronic form output, and claims.
- Provide claims guidelines for assigned payers and plans to the team.
- Oversee the day-to-day assignment of accounts, ensuring correct and timely processing, triage, and resolution of specific issues.
- Facilitate communication with payors when necessary.
Education And Experience
- Educational Requirement: Hold at minimum an Associate’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Authorized to work in the US.
- Experience with Epic required.
- Three years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, specifically billing and collections or at least 1 year of related experience in a leadership role. If applying for a role working with Epic, applicable certifications are required or the ability to test out of applicable end-user certifications.
- Three years of management experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations for a large, complex healthcare environment, including experience in an academic medical center.
- Analytical and Presentation skills using Microsoft products such as PowerPoint and Excel.
- Travel: Open to client dependent travel.
- Work Schedule: Opportunity for partial remote work.
