About Impact Africa Network
Impact Africa Network (IAN) is a nonprofit startup studio (US 501(c)3) based in Nairobi on a mission to ensure young talented Africans have a chance at participating in the digital transformation of Africa as creators and owners.
We provide Innovation Fellowships to talented college graduates providing them the opportunity to work on well-vetted ideas with like-minded peers positioning them at the frontlines of the innovation economy.
The vision is 2030 to develop 10 scaled-ups, that provide 10K jobs with a combined value of $10B as a portfolio. Out of this will image 1000 Innovation Leaders equipped with the mindset, skills, networks and resources needed to transform our society, we call it the ‘1000 Lee Kuan Yews’

The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and strategic Partner Relations Program Manager to grow and manage our support relationships with successful impact oriented entrepreneurs in the US.

The right candidate will be passionate about democratising opportunity, appreciate the value of entrepreneurship as an economic engine, appreciate the need for innovative approaches to solving economic problems, possess a global worldview that embraces the idea that while genius is evenly distributed, opportunity is not, and be driven with a passion to solve the problem.
For the right candidate this can start as a part-time role.
Key Responsibilities
- Relationship Cultivation: Build and nurture support relationships with appropriate individuals, families and foundations.
- Mission Amplification: Tell our story compellingly, showcasing our mission and impact to existing and prospective partners.
- Resource Mobilization:
- Develop and execute partnership strategies to support our mission
- Identify and engage potential supporters, donors, and collaborators
- Support fundraising efforts through meaningful relationship-building
- Ecosystem Engagement: Represent Impact Africa Network at conferences, events, and forums, expanding our network and visibility in the region.
- Partnership Development: Create collaborative opportunities that align with our core mission of digital transformation and youth empowerment
Key Desirables
- Proven experience in partnership management, relationship building, donor relations and fundraising.
- Strong knowledge of donor databases management
- Excellent storytelling and fundraising skills
- Experience in event planning and public relations
- Familiarity with nonprofit and grants processes
