Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and lead production teams to meet performance goals in safety, quality, and productivity.
- Ensure standardized work processes are followed and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coach and train team members using job instruction methods; maintain training records.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust priorities to meet customer demands.
- Provide first response to production issues, troubleshooting problems and implementing corrective actions.
- Track and report on team performance, including efficiency, downtime, and scrap.
- Perform quality checks, analyze defects, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain proper staffing levels and oversee employee performance, attendance, and development.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies, conduct safety inspections, and lead incident investigations.
- Support and implement 5S and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to employees.
- Maintain accurate end-of-shift reports summarizing key production activities and concerns.
