This role plays a critical part in ensuring on-time shipments, optimizing inventory levels, and improving cost, quality, and delivery efficiencies.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee production planning activities to support timely product launches.
- Lead and monitor inventory levels, raw material procurement, and warehousing/shipping operations.
- Develop departmental plans, budgets, and master production schedules using sales forecasts, customer demand, and capacity planning.
- Ensure compliance with company, customer, and Materials Department requirements while setting strategic direction for future improvements.
- Supervise and provide strategic guidance to a team of professional and leadership staff.
- Champion process improvements and projects to enhance efficiency, quality, and delivery performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or related field.
- 4 years experience in materials management, inventory control, or supply chain operations.
- 2 years supervisory/managerial experience with financial/budget responsibility and strategic decision-making.
- 3 years automotive manufacturing experience.
