This role plays a vital part in ensuring timely deliveries, optimizing inventory levels, and improving cost, quality, and delivery efficiencies.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee production planning activities to support the launch of new products.
- Lead inventory management, raw material procurement, and warehousing/shipping operations.
- Assist in developing departmental plans, budgets, and master production schedules.
- Ensure compliance with company, customer, and Materials Department requirements.
- Supervise and guide professional and leadership staff.
- Champion process improvements and projects to enhance efficiency, quality, and delivery performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or related field.
- 4 years of experience in materials management, inventory control, or supply chain operations.
- 2 years of supervisory/managerial experience, including financial/budget responsibility and strategic decision-making.
- 3 years of automotive manufacturing experience.
