Our client, a global manufacturing & distribution company headquartered here in Grand Rapids, is actively looking for a Trasportation Analyst to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of their transportation department. In this pivotal role, you will handle a variety of tasks that include data management, reporting, and software support. This position is ideal for analytical thinkers with a knack for leveraging data to drive organizational success and improve customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :

• Collect, clean, and verify data to ensure integrity and provide administrative support.
• Perform mathematical calculations to optimize data application for organizational benefit and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain high data accuracy and system integrity through detailed analysis.
• Develop ad hoc reports by compiling data from various systems to support business opportunities.
• Streamline existing reporting functionalities and develop additional metrics to enhance reporting processes.
• Configure and adjust pricing setups and changes within the Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Manage carrier accounts and profiles, troubleshoot pricing issues in the TMS, and ensure effective system utilization.
• Collaborate closely with the TMS team to define, develop, and implement specific reporting needs.
• Manage the rate quote email box, providing benchmark rates as needed.
