Job Description:
As the Human Resources Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience at Impact Fisheries LLC. You will manage all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and compliance with labor laws. You will work closely with leadership and staff to ensure a harmonious and effective workplace that attracts, retains, and develops top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, from job posting and interviewing to onboarding and integration.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with company goals and compliance requirements.
- Manage employee relations, addressing issues, concerns, and conflict resolution in a timely and professional manner.
- Design and facilitate employee training programs to enhance professional growth and skills development.
- Coordinate performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and feedback.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and equity within the industry.
- Stay up-to-date with labor laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance across all HR activities.
- Lead initiatives to foster a positive company culture, engagement, and employee satisfaction.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on organizational development and strategic planning.
- Oversee HR reporting, metrics, and analysis to support data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, with at least 1 year in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and employee relations.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive situations with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Experience with HRIS software and MS Office Suite; familiarity with [specific tools or software] is a plus.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is preferred but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
